Terms and conditions
Last updated October 2026.
1. Who we are and what we do
FIXD is a home-services booking platform operating in DHA Lahore (Phases 1–9, including Phase 9 Town and Prism), Askari X and Askari XI. We take your booking, assign a technician from our roster, and manage the job from confirmation through to your acceptance of the completed work.
FIXD does not employ the technicians who carry out the work. Every technician is an independent contractor who runs their own business and is responsible for the work they carry out and for their own conduct on the job. Nothing in these terms creates an employment, partnership or agency relationship between FIXD and a technician.
These terms apply to every booking made through the FIXD website. By placing a booking you agree to them.
FIXD is operated by FIXD (SMC-PRIVATE) LIMITED. Our postal address is 278 EE, Phase 4, DHA Lahore.
2. Who can book
You must be 18 or older to book. You must either own the property you are booking for or have the owner's permission to be there and to grant access, and you must be authorised to approve the work.
You must give accurate details and stay contactable on the mobile number registered to your account. If we cannot reach you, the technician may not be able to complete the visit.
We may decline a booking, cancel an assigned job or suspend an account where there is a safety concern, where details cannot be verified, where payment has not been made for completed work, or where the service has been misused.
3. Bookings, scheduling and access
You can book one or more services in a single booking. Bookings must be made at least 60 minutes before the requested time slot and no more than 10 days in advance. Slots are hourly between 9am and 6pm.
You must describe the problem for each service you book. This helps us send the right technician with the right tools and parts.
You can amend booked items, quantities and problem descriptions before the technician starts work. For date or time changes, contact FIXD. Once the technician clicks Start job, you cannot amend any booking details. Completion acceptance, payment confirmation and optional reviews remain available as separate actions.
Your booking is confirmed when it appears in your FIXD account. We then review it and assign a technician, whose name and trade you can see in your account before they arrive.
Please keep the work area clear and safe, secure pets, keep children away from the work area, and tell us in advance about anything that could make the visit hazardous — for example exposed wiring, a gas smell, suspected asbestos, damp or structural movement, or access restrictions.
A technician will wait 15 minutes after the booked slot starts. If the customer is not available by then, the visit is treated as a no-show.
If a technician is delayed or unwell, or something outside our control gets in the way (severe weather, flooding, a power cut, a road closure), we will contact you to agree a new time. You can cancel free of charge in that case.
4. Prices, quotes and payment
Fixed prices cover the listed scope, including the stated quantity for per-unit services. Starting prices are not final prices: you and the technician must agree a written quote before work begins. Quotation-based work also requires an agreed written quote before it begins. The final invoice records the agreed work and any extras approved in writing before they were undertaken; accepting the final bill is not a substitute for prior approval.
A standard assessment visit costs Rs 500 per visit, not per service assessed, including geyser inspections without exception. Multiple inspection items in the same scheduled booking share one assessment charge. This charge is separate from the cost of any work and is not deducted from the price of the job if you decide to go ahead. It is not an automatic surcharge on fixed-scope work. Any subsequent work requires an agreed written quote before it begins.
Anything beyond the booked scope, and any parts or materials, needs your approval of a written quote before the technician continues. Nothing is added to a bill without that approval.
Parts and materials become yours once you have paid for them. Parts purchased to order or already fitted cannot be returned, and carry the manufacturer's or supplier's warranty rather than a FIXD warranty.
Payment is made on completion of the job, directly to the technician against a FIXD invoice, by cash, JazzCash, Easypaisa or bank transfer. FIXD is not a payment provider: it does not take card payments on the website, does not hold customer money, and does not deduct payment from a technician.
If you do not accept the final price, contact us on 0371 427 4310 before paying and we will review the invoice with you line by line.
When a technician marks a job complete and enters the final amount, you will be asked to accept the completed work and the final price in your FIXD account. By accepting, you confirm the work was completed to a satisfactory standard and you agree to the price for the works carried out.
Prices are shown as the total payable. FIXD invoices do not show tax separately.
5. Cancelling and rescheduling
You can cancel a booking free of charge at any time before a technician is assigned.
A cancellation fee of Rs 300 applies if you cancel within 60 minutes after a technician has been assigned, or if the technician arrives and you are not available within 15 minutes of the booked slot starting (a no-show).
If parts or materials have already been bought to order for your job, you pay their cost against the receipt even if you then cancel.
If FIXD cancels a job — for example because no technician can be found or the visit is unsafe — you are not charged for the visit.
6. Guarantee on the work
Labour on the agreed scope is guaranteed for 15 days from the date you accept the job, across all trades. If the same fault caused by the agreed work comes back within that period, the technician returns and puts it right at no labour charge, subject to the exclusions below.
The guarantee does not cover faults that were not caused by the work, new and unrelated faults, damage caused by someone else, work carried out by others after the job, normal wear, or pre-existing conditions that were outside the booked scope.
Parts and materials are covered by the manufacturer's or supplier's warranty. Keep your receipt — it is stored with your booking and we can resend it to you.
If you are unhappy with the work, contact us on 0371 427 4310 (phone or WhatsApp) with your booking reference. We review the concern and arrange the remedy covered by this guarantee where applicable.
7. Liability
FIXD is responsible for arranging your service with reasonable care and skill: taking and confirming your booking, assigning a vetted technician, keeping your job records, and handling your account, invoices and complaints.
The technician who carries out the work is an independent contractor and is responsible for the work itself and for damage caused by their negligence. Where a technician is at fault, FIXD will pursue the matter with the technician on your behalf and will remove a technician from the roster where a concern is substantiated.
Where FIXD is liable in connection with a booking, FIXD's total liability for that job is capped at the price you paid for that job.
FIXD is not liable for indirect or consequential loss — for example loss of use of a room or appliance, extra utility bills, temporary accommodation, lost earnings, or loss of business.
If your property is damaged during a job, report it within 48 hours on 0371 427 4310 with photographs. We investigate with the technician and, where the technician is at fault, the technician repairs or pays for the damage.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
FIXD does not currently hold insurance for technician visits.
8. Vetting and safety
Before a technician can take work through FIXD, FIXD checks their CNIC, carries out a trade test, checks references, and requires General Police Verification and ROPE registration.
Vetting is the process we apply to build the roster. It is not a guarantee of a person's conduct, and no vetting process can promise that nothing will go wrong.
If you are ever uncomfortable during a visit, ask the technician to stop and contact us on 0371 427 4310 straight away. We will investigate and take the technician off the roster where the concern is substantiated.
Only let in someone who matches the technician named in your booking. You can check the assigned technician's name and trade in your account before they arrive, and you can refuse entry to anyone who cannot be matched to your job.
9. Photos, receipts and job records
Technicians photograph completed work and upload receipts for any parts or materials purchased for your job. You can upload photographs with a booking. These records are stored privately and are kept with your booking.
Please do not upload photographs that show other identifiable people, or your neighbours' property, without their consent.
The same records are how we handle a warranty claim, a damage report or a query about a charge, so please keep your booking reference.
10. Ratings and reviews
After a completed job you may optionally rate your technician out of five stars and leave a comment. Ratings and reviews help FIXD maintain service quality. The homepage shows genuine eligible customer reviews and their actual average, not a promised rating.
Reviews must be truthful and about the service you received. Do not post abusive, defamatory or discriminatory content, personal attacks, or the contact details of staff or technicians.
Leaving a review does not automatically give permission to publish it. Your rating and review appear on the homepage only if you separately opt in to anonymous publication. We do not display your name, address or phone number with homepage reviews. Please do not include identifying information in your comment. We may remove a review that breaks these rules, and we do not rewrite genuine opinions.
11. Your account, phone and sign-in codes
You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time code. That code works as your signature for the account: you are responsible for keeping your phone, and your codes, secure and for not sharing them with anyone.
Tell us immediately on 0371 427 4310 if you believe someone else has used your account or your number, so we can secure it.
We may suspend an account that is used for abuse, fraud, repeated no-shows, or where payment for completed work has not been made.
12. Messages and calls
By booking you agree that FIXD may send you service messages about your booking — booking received, technician assigned, job started, job completed with the final bill, and reminders to accept completed work — by SMS, WhatsApp or phone call to the number registered to your account.
We send promotional or discount messages only where you have agreed to receive them, and you can opt out at any time by replying STOP or telling us on 0371 427 4310. Service, safety and billing messages continue, because they are part of the job.
WhatsApp is operated by a third party and your messages are subject to its terms — see the privacy notice for what we share.
13. Complaints
To register a complaint, raise an issue about charges, or seek guidance, contact us on 0371 427 4310 by phone or WhatsApp and quote your booking reference.
FIXD will reply to complaints within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 3 days.
For anything about a charge, send us your invoice and we will walk you through it line by line. Nothing is ever added to a bill without your approval of a written quote.
If you are not satisfied with how a complaint has been handled, ask us to escalate it to FIXD management for a fresh review.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version is always the one published on this page, with its last-updated date at the top.
Where a change materially affects customers, we will also tell you in your FIXD account or by message. Booking after a change has taken effect means you accept the updated terms.
15. General
These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and the courts of Lahore have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of a booking.
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. A delay in enforcing a term is not a waiver of it.
These terms, together with the privacy notice, are the whole agreement between you and FIXD about your booking.
You may not transfer a booking to another person without our agreement. FIXD may transfer its business, and this agreement, to another entity.
Nothing in these terms creates a partnership, agency or employment relationship between you and FIXD, or between FIXD and any technician.
Notices to you are sent by SMS, WhatsApp or email to the details registered to your account. Notices to FIXD are sent by WhatsApp or phone on 0371 427 4310.
